UI/UX Designer & Frontend Engineer

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a creative, user-centric Lead UI/UX Designer & Frontend Engineer to take complete ownership over the visual and interactive experience of our web platforms. This is a design-first hybrid role. Your primary superpower is UI/UX design, you will own the design direction for multiple distinct user interfaces tailored to different customer segments, white-label needs, and client personas. You will be backed by a dedicated team of software engineers who will support implementation, handle heavy backend/logic integration, and help turn your designs into production-ready code. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will translate high-level product strategy into beautiful, intuitive digital experiences.

Technical

UI/UX Design & Vision (Primary Focus 80%)

• End-to-End Visual Ownership: Own the entire design process from discovery, wireframing, and user flows to pixel-perfect, high-fidelity UI design for multiple customer-facing platforms.
• Multi-Customer Platform Strategy: Design flexible, scalable interfaces that cater to diverse client workflows, distinct customer bases, or configurable UI modules.
• Design Systems: Build, maintain, and evolve our Figma design system and component libraries to ensure visual cohesion across all platforms.

Frontend Collaboration & Implementation (20%)

• Design-to-Code Translation: Build out frontend components and styling (HTML, CSS/Tailwind, UI components) to ensure production matches your visual standards.
• Quality & Fidelity Assurance: Serve as the design advocate in the codebase, ensuring micro-interactions, responsiveness, and UI standards are maintained.
• Exceptional Design Portfolio: Proven experience leading UI/UX design for web platforms, showcasing complex workflows made simple and visually compelling.
• Figma Mastery: Expertise in Figma, design systems, auto-layout, interactive prototyping, and design tokens.
• Working Frontend Knowledge: Proficient in HTML, Tailwind (or CSS/Sass), and foundational Typescript/React (or similar modern frameworks).

Leadership & Collaboration

• Strategic Alignment: Partner directly with the CPO to translate business vision and customer feedback into interactive prototypes and polished product features.
• Engineering Collaboration: Partner closely with our core software engineering team, who will assist with code reviews, complex logic, state management, and framework support.
• Product Ownership Mindset: Experience taking end-to-end responsibility for product interfaces and managing multiple customer UX requirements.
• Executive Communication: Comfortable explaining design choices, giving feedback, and collaborating directly with executive leadership (CPO).
