This Privacy Policy explains how JobNomix ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit https://jobnomix.com, subscribe to job alerts, create an account, apply for a job or post a job. By using the site you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the job board.

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, professional headline, company name, company website and logo, job listing details, and anything you write in a contact or report form.
Account information. If you register as a job seeker or an employer we store your email, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), and your verification status.
Activity information. Which jobs you viewed or clicked Apply on, and which job alerts you subscribed to.
Technical information. IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you visit, collected automatically by our server and analytics.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we never ask job seekers for payment, bank details, card numbers or government ID.

2. How we use your information

To show you relevant jobs and to run search, filters and alerts.
To create and secure your account and verify your email address.
To send job alerts you subscribed to, and service emails such as verification or password reset.
To let employers publish, edit and manage their job listings.
To reply to your messages and to investigate reports of expired, fake or fraudulent listings.
To measure traffic, prevent abuse and improve the site.

3. Job applications and third-party sites

Most listings on JobNomix send you to the employer's own careers page or applicant tracking system when you click Apply. Once you leave our site, the employer's privacy policy applies to whatever you submit there — not ours. Where a listing asks you to apply by email, your application goes directly to the employer's inbox; we do not receive a copy of your CV.

We record that an application click happened (which account clicked Apply on which job) so we can show you your activity and prevent abuse.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. The site cannot work without these.
Analytics cookies help us understand which pages and jobs are useful.
Advertising cookies may be set by advertising partners such as Google AdSense if advertising is enabled on the page. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits; you can opt out through Google Ads Settings.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, sign-in and forms will stop working.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Employers — the information you choose to send them when you apply.
Service providers — our web host, email/SMTP provider and analytics provider, who process data on our instructions.
Authorities — where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, users and the security of the site.

6. How long we keep it

Account and subscriber records are kept until you delete your account or unsubscribe. Job listings are removed after their closing date. Contact messages and reports are kept for up to 24 months. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics.

7. Your rights and choices

Unsubscribe from job alerts at any time using the link in every alert email.
Access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
Object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent where our processing is based on consent.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, sessions are hardened, forms are CSRF-protected and uploads are validated. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately if you suspect a problem with your account.

9. Scam warning

We never ask applicants for money, and no genuine employer on JobNomix will ask you to pay a fee, buy equipment or share banking details to get a job. We only post on https://jobnomix.com — we do not send job links over WhatsApp, Telegram or SMS. Report anything suspicious to jobnomix@gmail.com.

10. International visitors

Our servers and service providers may be located in countries other than yours, so your information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence. We take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected wherever it is handled.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or the law requires. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on the site.
