What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Test Manager, especially for our client projects in the financial sector. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in demanding test planning and implementation tasks. The tasks may vary from project to project, but your typical tasks include testing planning, coordination and implementation, and you will work in close cooperation with the business. You will be surrounded by a group of experienced HiQ colleagues and a client team that works with agile methods. At HiQ, we value your expertise and you will be able to work independently and manage your own work.
In your job
- You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and successfully executing testing of business-critical systems, ensuring high quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- You will lead testing packages in projects and development initiatives in collaboration with business, IT teams, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- You will develop testing processes, test automation, and quality assurance operating models to support efficient and risk-aware software development.
- You will monitor the progress of testing, manage testing risks, and report testing results and quality status to project management and key stakeholders.
We expect from you
- Strong experience in testing management, especially in the financial sector, and a good understanding of banking, insurance or payment business processes.
- Ability to operate successfully in a demanding and highly regulated operating environment.
- We consider experience with the SAFe framework an advantage.
- Fluent in Finnish and English.

The work can be done mainly remotely, but customer projects require an average of 1-2 days a week of presence in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Please note that the selected person will be required to undergo a basic security clearance.
