What are we looking for?

At HiQ, our AI, data and automation experts are dedicated to identifying and solving inefficiencies in our clients' business processes. We stay on top of industry trends and continuously expand our knowledge and capabilities to deliver innovative solutions. We provide expert solutions through project deliveries and consulting services according to our clients' needs.

As a Business & Data Analyst, you work closely with the client's business and help transform business needs into concrete solutions. The role combines business understanding, data-driven leadership, and strong BI expertise. The person we are looking for is skilled at communicating with different stakeholders and is able to explain complex issues in an understandable way, regardless of the audience. You have the ability to understand the whole picture and ensure that the solutions genuinely support the client's business.

Key tasks:

• Understanding business needs and translating them into more specific requirements.
• Analyzing processes, defining change needs and working on proposed solutions.
• Preparation of technical specifications, where applicable.
• Design, implementation and development of BI and reporting solutions.
• Working with various stakeholders including business and various technical teams.

We hope from you:

• Ability to produce clear, high-quality and visually appealing reports and analyses to support business operations.
• Several years of experience in data visualization and reporting. 
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (or similar tools) and creating, developing, and analyzing reporting solutions.
• Experience with other tools and technologies in use, such as AzureSQL, dbt, SQL, Python and DAX.
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
