What You’ll Do - Senior FP&A Business Partner

Hybrid: Wynyard (Sydney) / Richmond (Melbourne) / Remote (Australia)

As our Senior FP&A Business Partner, you will be a critical commercial advisor to our Executive team. You will own our pricing strategy, build business-defining commercial cases, and drive FP&A digital transformation. 

In this high-impact role, you will translate raw data into actionable insights, challenge the status quo, and ensure our strategies are aligned to deliver support as it should be across the disability and aged care sectors.

• Commercial Advisory & Business Partnering: Act as the commercial counterpart to non-finance leaders. Run a regular partnering rhythm, bring analysis before it’s asked for, pressure-test business cases, and confidently hold a position when there is reason to disagree. 

• Pricing & Strategy Ownership: Take end-to-end financial ownership of how Hireup prices. Model the cost of delivery, track it against NDIS price limits and SCHADS increases, and understand margin per hour by shift type rather than on a blended average.

• Financial Modelling & Automation: Build and maintain integrated, driver-based three-way models with robust scenario analysis. Champion process improvement by leveraging AI and automation tools to make finance cycles faster and less manual.

• Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting: Own the revenue and cost-of-delivery drivers that feed the annual budget and rolling reforecasts. Break variances into their real drivers (price, volume, mix, rate, and timing) and write commentary that stands on its own in front of the Executive team.

Your Background

• Proven Track Record: 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, finance business partnering, or consulting, backed by a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 

• Executive Influence: Proven ability to build trust with non-finance leaders, influence P&L outcomes, and turn complex data into clear, compelling narratives for executive decisions.

• Advanced Modelling: Demonstrated experience building and running 3-way financial models independently while thriving in ambiguous, grey environments. 

• Tech & Process Optimisation: Advanced Excel skills, strong process optimisation capabilities, and a drive to leverage AI and automation technology where it's fit for purpose.
