Job Overview
We’re looking for a new Backend Developer to join our team.
As a member of the
Cubbit team, you will help to design, develop and maintain performant and scalable products used by our business customers; you'll deep dive into challenging and exciting brainstorming and pair-programming sessions with your teammates and, most importantly, you'll be part of the future of the cloud.
What you’ll do
- Work on existing and new products by developing software, of course
- Review other teammates’ code and constructively discuss about changes
- Transform technical requirements into tasks to be worked on
- Analyze application’s tracing to spot bottlenecks and issues
What you’ll need
- 5+ years of experience in a backend development role
- Strong knowledge of Go (Golang) programming
- Understanding of cloud services
- Experience with Git
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (sockets, HTTP, APIs)
- Experience with AI-based and agentic development tools
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with Distributed Systems
Bonus point
- Past experience in startup and/or similar industry
- Past experiences with network file systems (NFS/SMB)
- Past experience in remote working with agile methodology
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kubernetes operator
- Familiarity with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, application tracing

Compensation:
Base salary €45,000, up to €65,000, depending on your experience, technical expertise, and overall fit for the role. In addition, you'll be eligible to participate in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
