Product Owner

About Role

We are looking for a strategic and visionary Product Owner to define the roadmap, prioritize features, and drive the successful development of our on-chain casino platform. 

Key Responsibilities (What you will do):

• Product Strategy & Execution: Partner with the Head of Product to translate the high-level roadmap into concrete quarterly OKRs and actionable technical goals, ensuring alignment across all delivery milestones.
• Backlog & Requirement Ownership: Own and manage the product backlog for the assigned development stream. This includes conducting detailed product discovery activities, writing clear user stories with detailed acceptance criteria, and ensuring the backlog is optimally prioritized to maximize value.
• Stakeholder Bridging: Lead communication across the development process. This involves translating complex needs into detailed technical specifications for engineers and designers, while keeping senior leadership and commercial partners updated on delivery progress and challenges.
• Data-Driven Delivery: Define, monitor, and champion effective KPIs and analytics tracking to measure product performance post-launch. Use data, testing, and continuous user feedback to identify deviations from expected experience and drive iterative product improvements.
• Quality Assurance & Acceptance: Final sign-off of features and products, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) work to ensure deliverables meet the quality and functional requirements.
• Competitive Edge: Proactively conduct regular competitor analysis and maintain marketplace awareness to identify problems and opportunities that will allow DeGaming to develop features that add value and secure an edge over the competition.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Product Owner or Product Manager within the iGaming space, demonstrating the ability to execute a strategy defined by product leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and a strong ability to manage and groom a development backlog.
• Strong user experience sensibilities with the capability to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive, user-centric product designs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex product status, vision, and strategy to both technical teams and senior commercial stakeholders.

Bonus points for

• Experience working with Web3, Blockchain, or DeFi protocols.
• A strong passion for decentralized technology and the principles of transparency and fairness in gaming.
• Familiarity with crypto wallet integrations and smart contract interactions.
• Experience working with CRM tools such as Customer.io and Smartico
• Experience defining or building AI/ML-empowered products (e.g., personalization engines, CMS enhancements, predictive analytics, or marketing tools).

This is a hybrid position based in Stockholm, Sweden, with flexibility for remote work arrangements.
