  • Lead forward-market analysis and performance reporting to support strategic trading decisions; assess current and future market conditions, price drivers, competitor activity and asset economics; produce scenarios and sensitivity analysis; identify risks and opportunities; and translate findings into actionable trading recommendations, KPIs and management insights.

  • Monitor market design, energy policy and regulatory developments, including SEM Committee consultations; assess their commercial and operational impact; work with the Policy & Regulation team and other stakeholders to recommend changes to trading strategy, controls, processes and systems; and ensure the Trading team is prepared for implementation.

  • Lead the development, validation and governance of electricity market pricing models in Plexos for I-SEM and Great Britain; maintain robust assumptions and scenarios; communicate model limitations; and produce regular price forecasts to support trading, asset operations, regulatory analysis and long-term investment decisions.

  • All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health, Safety and Welfare of themselves, fellow employees and members of the public. Identify, understand and apply all Health & Safety legislation and regulatory requirements as a fundamental element of any construction design or undertaking ensuring safety of employees and members of the public during construction, testing, commissioning and operation.

  • Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives.

  • Lead outage and capacity-market analysis for BnM's assets; provide timely recommendations on capacity risks ahead of key outages; and develop, implement and maintain the secondary capacity trading strategy, controls and reporting required to minimise commercial and compliance risk.
