Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to define and execute Trial Library’s commercial strategy, drive revenue growth, and build trusted partnerships across health systems, biopharma, and payers. This is a senior leadership role with significant impact on our growth trajectory, responsible for owning the company’s commercial vision and scaling a high-performing team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Trial Library’s commercial vision, GTM strategy, and revenue targets across all customer segments including health systems, biopharma, and payer engagements.
  • Lead pipeline development, forecasting, and execution to meet ambitious revenue goals.
  • Build and manage a commercial engine to convert top pharma prospects into long-term partners.
  • Define and execute Trial Library’s payer partnership strategy, including employer-sponsored plans.
  • Build partnerships that demonstrate both clinical impact and economic value.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow an agile commercial team across sales, partnerships, and customer success.
  • Build and refine commercial operations including CRM systems, pipeline reporting, contracting, and onboarding processes.
  • Partner closely with product, clinical, and marketing teams to align offerings with customer needs and market feedback.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial leadership roles in healthcare, digital health, life sciences, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling revenue engines in high-growth organizations.
  • Deep understanding of health system dynamics, biopharma partnerships, and payer/employer incentives.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with C-level executives across healthcare sectors.
  • Experience leading go-to-market strategy development and execution.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing high-performing commercial teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

Compensation & On-Site Requirement

This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA, with a requirement of three days per week in the office. The salary range for this position is $200,000-$320,000 per year and reflects a good faith estimate of base pay for candidates working in this location. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
