Business Development Director

About The Position

LSports is a world-leading sports data provider, trusted by sportsbooks worldwide to deliver real-time data with unmatched accuracy and reliability. Our technology drives smarter trading and deeper engagement, empowering bookmakers to grow, innovate, and stay ahead of the game.

We're looking for a Business Development Director to open new growth paths for LSports: new revenue streams, new products, new markets, and new partnerships. You'll report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and work across the business to turn opportunity into revenue.

What You'll Do

• Create new revenue streams from LSports' new and existing products.
• Bring new products and initiatives to LSports' potential customers: existing customers, and customers within our industry and TAM.
• Lead the search for M&A opportunities, in line with management's decisions and strategic direction.
• Structure, negotiate, and manage partnerships that create new revenue streams.
• Support LSports' entrance into new markets and verticals.
• Lead new business initiatives from concept through execution.
• Work closely with Product, Trading, Marketing, and Customer Success to turn opportunities into results.
• Track industry trends and competitor activity to surface new opportunities early.

Requirements

• Strong background in B2B SaaS, Data, or Technology companies is required. 10+ years of experience in commercial roles (business development, strategy, partnerships, corporate development, or similar).
• At least 5 years specifically in business development, with a track record of building new revenue streams or launching new business lines.
• Experience evaluating or working on M&A (sourcing, due diligence, or integration) is an advantage; hands-on deal experience is not required.
• Background in sports betting or iGaming is a strong advantage, not a requirement.
• Strong commercial instincts: able to identify opportunities, build the case, and drive them to execution.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working independently and driving initiatives with limited oversight.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as the role requires.
• English required.
