Accounting Specialist, German

Your mission

• Independent processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Review, posting and booking of incoming and outgoing invoices in accordance with GoBD and internal guidelines, as well as the application of the correct tax rates.
• Reconciliation of accounts and clarification of outstanding items
• Support with monthly and annual financial statements according to German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Maintaining master data and assisting in the further development of internal processes
• Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners

Your profile

• Commercial training or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in financial accounting (accounts receivable/accounts payable/sales and withholding tax)
• Hands-on mentality and team orientation
• Confident use of Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot, basic automation)
• Experience with ERP systems , ideally Abacus (not mandatory)
• Enjoyment in optimizing processes
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• Structured, reliable and analytical work style
• Quality orientation and compliance requirements

Your mission

• Selbstständige Bearbeitung der Debitoren- und Kreditorenbuchhaltung
• Prüfung, Kontierung und Buchung von Ein- und Ausgangsrechnungen gemäß GoBD und internen Richtlinien sowie die Anwendung der richtigen Steuersätze
• Abstimmung der Konten und Klärung offener Posten
• Unterstützung beim Monats- und Jahresabschluss nach HGB
• Pflege von Stammdaten sowie Mithilfe bei der Weiterentwicklung interner Prozesse
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Fachabteilungen und externen Partnern

Your profile

• Ausbildung im kaufmännischen Bereich oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Berufserfahrung in der Finanzbuchhaltung (Debitoren/Kreditoren/ Umsatz- und Quellensteuer)
• Hands-on-Mentalität und Teamorientierung
• Sicherer Umgang mit Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot, grundlegende Automatisierung)
• Erfahrung mit ERP-Systemen, idealerweise Abacus (nicht zwingend erforderlich)
• Freude an der Optimierung von Abläufen
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Strukturierte, zuverlässige und analytische Arbeitsweise
